Costa Rica Continued

laying out by the pool.
Dinner the first night at the resort with my family.
Caroline and Kendell (aren't they cute)

My family after dinner the last night in Costa Rica. We had a great time. We went white water rafting the first day we were there. I am still working on posting those pictures.

MPSA All-Star Game

My Aunt Carol, Kendell, Mom, and Me with my grandmother. She made the trip from Cleveland. She was funny she got mad at the girl sitting next to her because she was yelling for the other team. She kept telling the girl to quit yelling against Kendell's team. (She is 86)
Me and Kendell at the All-Star game. She played really good and said that she had a blast.
Matt and Kendell
My mom was a crazy picture taker. She was running around taking pictures of everyone. It was really funny.
Kendell with Mo Bell from MRA . They are both going to Delta State next year to play basketball. Maybe they will be roomies. Kendell's team (the North) lost by three points, it was the closest all-star game I have ever been too. When I played we lost by 20 and when Caroline played they won by 20, so her's was very interesting. It was fun and she was so happy. Go Kendell.

It's Great to be an MSU DAWG!!!!

I am so freaking PUMPED. I left school early today to come home and watch the game and I am so glad that I did. During the game I was yelling and screaming, and every time I would Lulu would run around the house barking. So we were both cheering on the dawgs. I was so frustrated at the end of regulation that I went outside to take the Lulu out with 5 seconds to go because I just knew that we had lost. Then I came back inside and there was 5 min on the clock. I was like WHAT???? I am so pumped. Almost every year my family goes to the Tourney (even if we aren't any good), and let me tell you it is the best feeling to beat Kentucky. They bring so many fans it is like a Kentucky Wildcat home game. I would have loved to have been there to see all of those sad Wildcat faces. Tomorrow it is on, Gary Ervin is going to wish he had stayed at State. Go DAWGS beat the HOGS!!!!!!

New Camera and School Friends

Today we went to Olive Gardent to celebrate out last day of clinicals ever!!! YIPPEE SKIPPY!!!! I took some pictures of my nursing school friends with my new camera. DOUBLE YIPPEE SKIPPY!!! We all looked like big GOOBERS because we had on those oh so flattering MUW uniforms.
The whole gang including Mrs. Sparks. We spent our last rotation in Tupelo at NMCC on the cardiac floor.
This is Kerri. My all time study buddy. Sometimes I feel like I spend more time with her than I do Matt.

Camera Update

I am planning on getting a new camera tomorrow. Matt and I are leaving for COSTA RICA on Sunday, and I refuse to leave without a camera (ok, so it would only probably wouldn't take to much twisting of the arm to get me on the plane).

Goodbye DAYS!

I usually don't give anything up for lent, but this year I decided that I was going to do it and not cheat. Usually I decided to give up something that is totally unrealistic for me, but this year I have picked something that I really think is do-able. Yes, I have given up Days of Our Lives (aka DAYS). Out of all of my years in college I never seemed to get addicted to this silly show, but since I have moved to Columbus, it has become a total obsession. If I miss it during the day I will usually watch it 10:00 p.m. on the Soap Net. As if that was not psycho enough, if I missed it during the week and at night I would just watch it on Sunday on the Soap Net to catch the day(s) that I missed. So far I am doing ok. Last week I almost had a weak moment while I was working out. It came on the TV just as I was getting of the treadmill, so to avoid the show I ran to the tanning bed. So instead of poisoning my mind with stupid unrealistic stories, I decided to subject myself to skin cancer (and it felt so good).

My new favorite place

Well I will have to say that moving back to Columbus has not always been my most favorite experience in life, but I will have to say that it has gotten better in 2007 because of my new found secret. BELLADERMA AESTHETICS. Yes it is the best place in Columbus and yes I am obsessed with it. It all started with any eyebrow wax and it has turned into so much more. The best thing about it is that my eyebrows grow extremely fast so I get to go every two weeks. :) Since I have been going I have experienced a facial, eyebrow wax and just today a lash tint (yes, she dyed my eyelashes so that I don't have to put mascara on for 4 weeks) This is so great since I have super sensitive eyes ( I found this out when I started wearing contacts). On March 7th I am getting another eyebrow wax as well as a bikini wax and a microderm abrasion (not real sure what that is, but I am super excited). If you don't already have a skin spa that you regularly attend, I really urge you to find one. (this is the point of this post) It really is such a great escape. So go out and find one that is convenient for you. GIRLS YOU ARE WORTH THIS EXTRA TREAT.

Happy Valentines Day

I hope everyone is having a Happy Valentines. Matt and I are going to the Mississippi State basketball game tonight to cheer on the Bulldogs as they take on the Razorbacks. Hope that everyone is doing something that is memorable for V-day 2007. I still have no camera.

Don't Get Excited

If you visit my blog frequently, don't get excited, because I have not gotten a new camera yet. That picture of Lulu is from my old camera and Rebecca took the one when she was little. So yes, my camera(s) are still dead and buried.

Sweet Lulu

Look at how big she has gotten. My baby is going up. She really is the sweetest dog in the world. I bet if she could talk she would tell that I am the best mom in the world and she loves me to pieces. In the bottom picture she was sleeping on the couch with me until someone woke her up.

Two Dead Camera's

Ok so I told you earlier that my camera was sick, well it is offical, it is now DEAD. Matt called Cannon and they told me that I would just be better off buying a new one. At first I was like "I don't need a new one because Matt bought a digital water proof camera, so I will just use his." When I asked him about it his exact words were "Let's not talk about the camera." HMMMM!!! That sounds shady. Come to find out Matt took his new camera duck hunting and our son Tucker knocked into the water. SURE!! So now it is at the bottom of some pond. So we have no camera(s). So I am going to buy a new one sometime, but I have no idea what I want. I did have a Cannon Elf, I have no idea what Matt bought because it was only with us for a short time (1 month). Any suggestions???? So today I am going to leave you all with a tiny piece of the life of the Cannon Elf with one final picture.
P.S. If you haven't checked Caroline's blog, she is going to Justin Timberlake's concert in March. I am SUPER JEALOUS!

Sick Camera

Hey everyone!! I am sure that you have all noticed that I have not posted anything lately. Well the reason being is because my camera has had a malfunction. I am working on getting it fixed, but I am not very smart at doing things like that. For example I took my iPod that I got for Christmas back to Best Buy because I was positive that it did not work. Well my dumb self had not downloaded iTunes. I am sure that that Best Buy employee was thinking "I have got a smart one on my hands." My very electronically sister Caroline came over and fixed it for me, (She so Smart). As soon as I get my sick camera well there will be more post. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a has a Blessed New Year.

Our Son Tucker.

I feel like I tend to neglect our other child, but he really is the smartest out of the two. All Lulu can do is sit when I offer her a treat, but Tucker can sit at the table and eat with a fork. haha. No he really is a smart dog and I wanted to share some pictures. Matt is training him and then just a perfect pose. Enjoy

Random Comments By my Hairdresser

Ok, so most of you know my past story about going to get my haircut. Well if you don't I have been going to this girl for over a year now and I really like her. She is in West Point and her shop is called "The Bink." It is named after her daughters pacifier. ( I know that is really random). Well about this time last year I was really bored and cut all of my hair off. I liked it for about 3 months, but since then I have been trying to grow it back out. I have been trying everything, like taking prenatal vitamins, I don't think that it is making my hair grow, but definetly my nails. Yesterday I went to buy some more viatmins and Deb the wal-mart check out girl started saying "Whoo Hoo, well looks like someone is trying to have a baby, how is it going." Really loud. I quickly corrected her and told her I was trying to grow my hair out. Anyway, I got a little side tracked. The last time I went to get my hair cut, she told me it looked like a mullet. She is really blunt. So yes now you can say that you know a girl who has had a mullet. Well today I asked her about getting some bangs. She said that bangs were "in", but she did not suggest that I got them because I would look like Peppermint Patty. I don't even know what Peppermint Patty looks like, but apparently she is not very cute. So needless to say I did not come home with bangs. Stay tuned for I am sure another interesting comment my hairdresser, but It won't be until Feburary.

Belated Turkey Day Pics

Yes we did have a great Thanksgiving, but i did not seem to take a lot of pictures. the one picutre I did make sure that I got was Caroline's new hair color. Yes she did dye her hair black. She told me before she was going to do it and I will have to say I was really upset about it because she has such beautiful hair. I honestly thought she was going to look like the GOTH MONSTER. She kept telling my mom, "I have a surprise for you when I get home." As you can see it turned out really well. Her hair used to be my color, but now it is a lot darker. In the above pic she is holding my two month old daughter. JK that is Macy, one of my parents friends new addition. She is a cutie.

3 Down 1 To Go.

Hey everyone. Sorry that i have not posted anything lately. I have been studying my brains out. I am thankful to say that the 3rd horrible semester is over. I passed with flying colors. Thanks goodness that I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. I will all be over with in May with the exception of Boards. I can't believe that Nursing school is almost over and I can't believe that I was crazy enough to go back to school. I AM NUTS. Look for more post to come. This picture is symbolic of how I have felt since before Thanksgiving. Yes I did feel like pulling my hair out.

Fly Fishing in Arkansas

Well last Wednesday through Friday, Matt and his new best bud Brad Clayton (Jamison Mattress rep) (Ben don't get mad you are his new best bud too), went fly fishing on the White River in Arkansas. Matt went to Alaska in late August with Jamison Mattress Co. and Brad was unable to go because his wife was expecting her 3rd baby. Well anyway Brad was super sad that he missed so Matt took him to the White River to teach him. They both caught Rainbow Trout. Personally I think they are really UGLY, but Matt seems to think they are beautiful. If he thinks that is beautiful, I must look like a DEAL OR NO DEAL girl. (haha). Looks like they had a great time. I would post pics from Matt's Alaska trip, but for some reason blogger won't let me upload them. Sorry because they really are great. The scenary really is beautiful.

Halloween Cuties

Here are some pictures from Halloween. We went to the church for a "Trunk or Treat" The kids went from car to car to get candy. There was face painting, a jumper, and a cake walk. Kinda like a mini carnival. Once again my neighbors kids, they were power rangers and they were decked out with swords and capes. Austin is in the middle, she was a cow. She is 8 months old and so cute. Her mom and I are good friends. she love Lulu who was Bumble bee, but I forgot to take a picture. I will have to redress her up and post it, she was the hit of the carnival.

Caroline told everyone to dress up at her work. She said that they said they would and when she got there she was the only one who dressed up, and she was a HOT DOG on top of that. Doesn't she look ridiculous. (But funny). For those of you who don't know, she lives in Dallas, TX and works for a graphic design firm. She loves it and we miss her.

More Homecoming at SA

Here are some more pictures from Kendell and her buddies at homecoming. This is Kendell after the game trying to put her Jeep top on in my mom's mink coat.

These are the Seniors that were on the court. The Girl in the center won queen and the one standing next to Kendell won Senior maid.

Kendell adn her Basketball Buddies, they played Kirk last night in a preseason Tourney. It was 21-0 at one time. (they were winning)

Kendell and Michelle. Michelle was Senior Maid. See that circle on Kendell's shoulder, well that is where she leaned on the coffee pot at the brunch that day. It looked awful that night. Sounds like something that I would have done.

So here they finally are, pictures from homecoming at Starkville Academy. No she did not win, but I think that she was the pretties one on the field. Here she is doing what every teenager does best, text messaging.

Caroline flew home for the festivites. Aren't they so pretty

Just the girls

THE BIG 90

Hey everyone, just wanted to update you all on why I have not been posting anything lately. I had a test on Tuesday and so I have been studying my brains out. Well all my studying paid off BIG TIME, because I made a 90. Needless to say I was pumped, I felt like I could have done a back flip when I saw my score and one of my teachers kissed me on the cheek. Matt is also super glad, because now he does not have to cook so much. (he was a great sport) If you can't tell I am very proud. Anyway stay tuned for more post since I have some breathing room now.
