We went to Belize in late October. It was our post baby vacation that I really needed. I encourage everyone to take oneThe weather was great and as you can tell I got very sunburned. Matt got to go fly fishing a few days and loved it. He is already talking about going back. The resort was so nice and the people were very friendly. I recommend it to anyone looking for a get away.
This was our Casita where we stayed.
Everyday these idiots would feed the crocodiles in the bay. This was illegal and yes they were idiots. Tourist would bring them whole chickens and they would feed them. They claimed they were friends with the oldest croc, George, and they said that the would ride him if he came up to eat. He did not come the day we went to watch and of course they wanted a tip.
Yes we made the trip to Knoxville to see the Dawgs play. This highlight of the game was watching state run out on the field. The highlight of the entire weekend was tailgating before the game. Let's just say the atmosphere was nothing like Starkville, and I am glad there were no children around.
Now this is just wrong, but I had to get a picture with the Volunteer Bulldog.
Tennesse vs. State in a game of "Flip Cup." Look how excited Matt is, can you tell they won that round and I will have to say we may not have won the game, but the State guys were the champs at Flip Cup.
This old man was DIE HARD. I just kept thinking "that is somones grandfather." He carried around a birdfeeder that was really a plunger that said something like "visitor fans birdfeeder." It was funny.
Charlie, Mosby and Cole. This picture is so blurry, but it is the only one I could get with all three of them in it. Charlie and Mosby were on the move and poor Cole just sat there because he had not started crawling yet. These boys were all born within 3 months of each other and I just know they are going to be best buds.
I can't believe that I have been out of highschool for 10 years. The reunion was so fun and it was great getting to see everyone. I pictured going back and everyone looking different. No one had really changed which is a good thing. Me and Kendy
Matt was such a trooper.
Kendy, Jeremy, me, PJ and Kelly.
Had to get a picture in front of the sign. It still looks pitiful.
Look and Caroline and Charlie. They did so good. Eliza Kate was somewhere, you can see we were real worried about her.
I tried doing swimming lessons with Charlie. He loved it, but the water was freezing and then he got the snottiest nose ever. The girl teaching it told me that lots of times the water got so cold the babies could not handle it. We only went once, but it was still fun. Maybe we will try it again in the summer. Charlie was 8 months old at the time.
Tailgating with friends is always so fun. The kids love it. Especially Rebecca Jolly. I really think she ate a total of 20 cookies and brownies that day. She had a blast. Christian and Brooke's little boy Braden. He hoves Matt.
Rebecca Jolly, she is probably eating a brownie in that picture. So cute.
Oh Charlie and spit up you do.
The Fowler Family
Hanging out before the game. Notice the bib change.
Every year Matt's mom's family has a reunion. She comes from a family of 5 children, so there are ton's of people there but it is not an uncomfortable reunion where you only know half the people. It was lots of fun and Charlie got mega attention. Charlie with his great grandfather D. Check out those sunglasses. Charlie has 4 great grandmothers, but D is the only great grandfather. He loves D.
We were all outside and just hanging out and Matt was playing with Charlie. They are so cute when they play. Charlie just laughs at him. Charlie is a little over 6 months in these pictures. They were taken in August.
Holding my bottle at 6 months. (thank you day care for teaching independence). Chillin watchin tv (probably sports center, it is a morning ritual) Dad your so much fun.
Charlie is 6 months old in theses pictures. My beautiful bumper pads had to be removed from the crib because once he started pulling up he absolutely destroyed them. Maybe they can be salvaged for the next child. Hey mom are you coming to get me????
